❃ Es handelt sich um einen großen Vogel, der bis zu 1,20 Meter groß werden kann. Er hat einen langen Hals und lange Beine und einen langen, gebogenen Schnabel. Der Schuhschnabelstorch kommt in Afrika vor und ernährt sich von Fischen, Amphibien und Reptilien.
❃ Erwachsene Tiere sind grau und weiß mit einem schwarzen Band an der Vorderkante ihrer Flügel. Jungtiere sind brauner und haben kein Flügelband. Der Schuhschnabel kann über 150 cm groß werden und hat eine Flügelspannweite von bis zu 2,8 m. Er ist das einzige Mitglied der Gattung Balaeniceps.

5. Want to speed things up? Use a hairdryer on low, warm heat, held about 20cm away. Keep it moving and use short bursts between fluffs. Never use high heat.
