Bringing it back to form:

1. Remove it from the packaging as soon as it arrives — don’t leave it packed.

2. Give it a good fluff — gently knead the body and work the limbs, wings, ears, or tail to redistribute the filling.

3. Let it breathe. Most plush regain their full shape within 1–3 days, while larger or denser designs can take up to a week.

4. Smooth any flattened or creased fur with your fingers or a soft brush as it fluffs back up.

5. Want to speed things up? Use a hairdryer on low, warm heat, held about 20cm away. Keep it moving and use short bursts between fluffs. Never use high heat.

I already have a complaint in with you. But since you’re asking… I ordered the blobfish stuffy, and it arrived packaged and taped so tightly that when I took it out, it’s completely covered in wrinkles. It’s also about half as stuffed as the pictures make it look. So what should’ve been a cute fluffy stuffy is now a wrinkled deflated looking thing. It’s really not good.

Your plush ships inside our satchel, and to protect it in transit (and keep shipping fair instead of charging you for a box of air), some plush travel vacuum-sealed. Compression is completely harmless — the filling is designed to bounce back, just like a puffer jacket springs back after being packed. It simply needs a little time to take its full shape. To help your plush settle into shape: 1. Remove it from the packaging as soon as it arrives — don't leave it packed. 2. Give it a good fluff — Gently shake, massage, and reshape the plush with your hands. Work the filling toward any areas that appear flattened and gently reposition the ears, wings, legs, or other features. 3. Let it rest for a few days — Leave the plush unpacked in a well-ventilated room. The filling and fabric will naturally expand and settle after being compressed during shipping. Let it breathe. Most plush regain their full shape within 1–3 days; larger or denser ones can take up to a week. 4. Massage stubborn areas — If the face or body still looks compressed, gently knead and roll the filling between your fingers to redistribute it. This can help bring features such as the eyes, face, and body back into their intended position. If the fur looks flattened or creased, smooth it with your fingers or a soft brush as it fluffs back up. 5. Use cool air if needed — For an extra fluff, you can use a hair dryer on its cool or lowest heat setting, held at a safe distance, held about 20cm away, kept moving, in short bursts between fluffs — helps the fibers relax faster. Never high heat or holding the dryer close to the plush.
