❃ È un uccello di grandi dimensioni che può raggiungere i 120 cm di altezza. Ha collo e zampe lunghi e il becco è lungo e ricurvo. La cicogna dal becco a scarpa vive in Africa e si nutre di pesci, anfibi e rettili.
❃ Gli adulti sono grigi e bianchi, con una banda nera sul bordo anteriore delle ali. I giovani sono più marroni e privi di banda alare. Il becco a scarpa può raggiungere un'altezza di oltre 150 cm, con un'apertura alare fino a 2,8 m. È l'unico membro del genere Balaeniceps.

4. Smooth any flattened or creased fur with your fingers or a soft brush as it fluffs back up.
5. Want to speed things up? Use a hairdryer on low, warm heat, held about 20cm away. Keep it moving and use short bursts between fluffs. Never use high heat.
