❃ High in the rainforests of Southeast Asia, the orangutan moves through the canopy with a remarkable combination of strength, balance, and patience. Its long arms, powerful hands, and shaggy reddish-orange coat make it instantly recognizable, while its expressive face reflects the intelligence of one of the world's great apes. The name orangutan means “person of the forest,” a fitting description for this highly capable tree-dweller.

❃ Orangutans spend much of their lives above the ground, using their exceptionally long arms to swing between branches and navigate the forest canopy. Their strong hands and feet can grasp branches securely, while their flexible bodies allow them to move carefully through even dense vegetation. Fruits form a major part of their diet, supplemented by leaves, bark, insects, and other forest foods when available.

❃ Found today on the islands of Borneo and Sumatra, orangutans are largely solitary compared with many other great apes. Mothers form especially strong bonds with their young, teaching them how to find food, build sleeping nests, and safely travel through the canopy. As vital seed dispersers of the rainforest, orangutans help shape the forests they call home — making their survival important not only to the species itself, but to the ecosystem around it.

When It Arrives

Your plush travels inside our satchel, and some designs may be vacuum-sealed to keep them protected and compact during their journey. Don’t worry if yours looks a little flattened when first unpacked — the filling is designed to bounce back and simply needs a little time and fluffing to take its full shape.

Bringing it back to form:

1. Remove it from the packaging as soon as it arrives — don’t leave it packed.

2. Give it a good fluff — gently knead the body and work the limbs, wings, ears, or tail to redistribute the filling.

3. Let it breathe. Most plush regain their full shape within 1–3 days, while larger or denser designs can take up to a week.

4. Smooth any flattened or creased fur with your fingers or a soft brush as it fluffs back up.

5. Want to speed things up? Use a hairdryer on low, warm heat, held about 20cm away. Keep it moving and use short bursts between fluffs. Never use high heat.

The plush I received look quite different from the photo which look quite good. The pictures on your website is misleading and show a different plush. I wanted to send it back but I realized I need to arrange the shipment back to China by myself which is pretty expensive. I contacted the support 10 days ago and had a first response saying you are looking at the issue and then no answer. So bad items, bad service….so disappointing. Still waiting for someone to help me with my concern. Experience totally unexpected compared with the website which show high standard items.
