❃ Trilobiter är en grupp utdöda marina leddjur som bildar en av de tidigaste kända grupperna av djur. De dök upp först under den kambriska perioden, för cirka 541 miljoner år sedan, och fortsatte med att bli några av de mest framgångsrika och mångsidiga djuren under den paleozoiska eran.
❃ De var bland de första djuren som utvecklade hårda skal som ett skyddsmedel, och deras strömlinjeformade kroppar skulle ha tillåtit dem att röra sig relativt snabbt genom vattnet. Trots att de var rovdjur, föll trilobiter också offer för andra djur, såsom fiskar och tidiga amfibier.

Don’t worry if yours looks a little flattened when first unpacked — the filling is designed to bounce back and simply needs a little time and fluffing to take its full shape.
Bringing it back to form:
1. Remove it from the packaging as soon as it arrives — don’t leave it packed.
2. Give it a good fluff — gently knead the body and work the limbs, wings, ears, or tail to redistribute the filling.
3. Let it breathe. Most plush regain their full shape within 1–3 days, while larger or denser designs can take up to a week.
4. Smooth any flattened or creased fur with your fingers or a soft brush as it fluffs back up.
5. Want to speed things up? Use a hairdryer on low, warm heat, held about 20cm away. Keep it moving and use short bursts between fluffs. Never use high heat.

The trilobite was MUCH higher quality than I had expected! So much detail, excellent construction, and very soft too! This was a Christmas gift for my son who is a geology/paleontology major and has always loved fossils, esp. trilobites. So it was a fun and unique gift and he thought it was very cool. We were very intrigued by the large selection of your other plushie prehistoric or unusual living creatures. Im sure this will not be our last purchase! Highly recommended if you or the recipient is up for snuggling with a fluffy fossil or weird creature. These certainly are not teddy bears, but they FEEL like they are!

I bought the trilobite and anamalocaris to be used in my Rock Talk. It's far better to demonstrate how anomalocaris had an effect on trilobite evolution when they can incision what it looked like. These are perfect!
